2015 Fall

  • The course really taught me to never give up and try new things even if they were hard. I became more stronger and persistent in my studying. I became more flexible and elegant when dancing.

  • Ms. Kim made me remember why I love ballet so much.

  • She was so enthused to be there as well, you could see her passion for dance and teaching.

  • The instructor and how she was going around during bar work to correct us. She was patient and willing to repeat whatever movement we need.

  • It encouraged me to take ballet 2 and want to actually try and declare a minor in dance.

2016 Spring

  • I liked that it didn't matter what background of dance you had, the class was able to reach all levels of dancers and was even challenging still for those with a background in dance.

  • I liked how this course was a combination of actual ballet work as well as learning about the vocabulary and the history of ballet. This allowed me as a student to fully understand more about ballet as an art form.

  • The professor really encouraged us to keep trying harder when we did not understand topics or movements in the class. This was really helpful since we were able to continue improving this way.

  • She has helped me become a better dance and choreographer and work as a team with others!
