Garamh Kim (Ed.M., CMA) is a Ph.D. Candidate at Temple University's Dance Department, focusing her research on progressive dance pedagogy in higher education. She explores the transformative experiences in dance classrooms, viewing these spaces as dynamic assemblages of collaborators—teachers, students, accompanists, technologies, and the classroom environment—all of which interact and influence the teaching and learning processes. Her scholarly interests also include phenomenological research, focusing on the lived experiences of dance class participants.

She has been recognized with several awards, including the Edrie Ferdun Emerging Scholar Award (2021), Sarah Hilsendager Innovation in Dance Education Award (2022), and Edrie Ferdun Scholarly Achievement Award (2024).

At Temple University, Garamh taught a wide range of courses—ranging from Ballet (I, II, III, BodyMind Awareness in Ballet) and Pilates to dance-making (Creative Process, Improvisation, Dance Composition) and theoretical courses including writing intensive course (Make Meaning in Dance).
