This is very useful page for dance teachers who want to find some useful dance videos for students. It contains several different types and genres of dance as well as different cultural dance. It also has popular dance steps that can encourage students to engage more in the class. By watching folk dance or line dance, students can learn different gender role in the dance and can discuss about it. For example, the teacher can assign students to observe different gender role in the video and ask what it means to you or to the society. Students can brainstorm about the gender issue and how it shows in the dance and how you can interpret the gender role in your movement.
